Claudia  Schwalm has enjoyed nature photography since 

childhood, when her family would visit
​
 many of the U.S. National Parks.


 Since that time she  has been able to 

photograph wildlife on all seven continents.

Being a semi-retired teacher, she also enjoy presenting 

workshops for educators and visiting classrooms to  introduce 

the wonders of nature, geography and world languages.




Her studios in Volcano are open by appointment.

This  location is also the repository for over 1000 titles on

international folk art and children's multicultural/multilingual
